A reminder of how far the NFL rookies have to go to catch up to the veterans…

Before I jump in the car and drive to Owings Mills for Ravens rookie mini-camp, I just wanted to mention one thing that stuck in my mind from my trip to St. Louis on Friday. It was, by all accounts, a successful experience for the participants. But what does that mean? Basically, that they only began the methodical process of figuring stuff out. Seriously, I was reminded once again how far these rookies are from being ready. And it has nothing to do with talent, obviously. On a scale of 1 to awesome, how were my first-round predictions yesterday?

Before the first round of the NFL Draft yesterday, I made some predictions. Five to be exact. I went through a bunch of scenarios and made some semi-educated guesses as to what would happen. This was my post right here. How did I do? While we wait for the second and third rounds to start tonight, let’s review. But be warned.
