NFL Network’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Jason Witten is active against the Giants, despite both a sore shoulder and a broken rib. It’s anyone’s guess if he’ll be limited in the contest, so fantasy leaguers should start him with caution.

Cowboys Pro Bowl tight end Jason Witten is, in the words of one member of the Dallas organization,

Cowboys TE Jason Witten is listed as questionable vs. the Giants after a broken rib prevented him from practicing all week. Witten will be a game-time decision for the Cowboys, already without QB Tony Romo (finger) and backup RB Felix Jones (hamstring).

Jason Witten and Anthony Henry of the Cowboys were among the notable players who suffered injuries in Week 8.

Cowboys TE Jason Witten left Sunday’s game against the Bucs during the second quarter with a rib injury and was taken to the locker room.

Jason Witten suffered a rib injury in the first half against Tampa Bay. He’s been taken to the locker room for X-rays. I’ll have more news when it becomes available.
