A few minutes with … three Super Bowl champs

Decimated by injuries, the Packers found willing and able replacements all season in winning the Super Bowl. Three players who stepped up on defense — LB Desmond Bishop, SS Charlie Peprah and CB/special-teams ace Jarrett Bush — took time Tuesday to chat with NFL.com about their offseason, the lingering NFL lockout and overcoming adversity individually and as a team.

The second quarter hasn’t been kind to the Green Bay Packers on the injury front.

Packers sign safety Giordano, cut Rouse

With major health concerns at safety, the Green Bay Packers signed free agent Matt Giordano. The surprising move is that they released a safety, 2007 third-round draft pick Aaron Rouse, to make room on the roster for Giordano.
