Willis McGahee, who was injured against the Browns, was listed as probable for the Ravens on Monday night. The Ravens believed that the Browns had purposely injured McGahee, but the league did not agree.

Maurice Jones-Drew missed Thursday’s practice due to an ankle ailment and Fred Taylor did limited work, but both running backs returned on Friday are listed as probable for the Jaguars this weekend. Obvious good news for fantasy football fans.

LaDainian Tomlinson‘s injured toe has become a cause for concern in San Diego. Tomlinson did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday, and many are wondering how long the injury will linger. Backup Darren Sproles could see increased action after his huge performance against the Broncos last week. Tomlinson’s toe along with Adrian Peterson‘s injured hamstring has fantasy owners despondent.

Buccaneers receiver Joey Galloway is out with a foot injury and did not practice this week. That leaves coach Jon Gruden looking for somebody to step up and fill-in for Galloway, starting with Antonio Bryant and Michael Clayton.

The Raiders rejuvinated running game took an injury hit against the Chiefs. Justin Fargas did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game at Buffalo. Darren McFadden was wearing a protective boot on Wednesday but competed in practice on Friday.

The Saints, who face a daunting task in slowing down the Broncos offense, will be challenged further as four defensive backs wound up on the injury report. Cornerback Aaron Glenn is out with an ankle injury. But safeties Josh Bullocks (heel) and Roman Harper (hamstring), along with CB Randall Gay (hamstring) are all listed as probable.

Broncos center Tom Nalen saw limited practice on Wednesday but did not practice the rest of the week. He is out.

Laurence Maroney and LaMont Jordan are battling injuries for the Patriots who play host to the Dolphins this week. Maroney returned to limited practice duties on Friday, while Jordan did not practice this week. Maroney is listed as questionable, while Jordan is doubtful.

The Chiefs will be forced to start two rookie cornerbacks because of a shoulder injury to Patrick Surtain. The team will turn to first-round draft pick Brandon Flowers and fifth-round pick Brandon Carr. They will take fellow rookie, Falcons QB Matt Ryan.

The fantasy value for Titans receivers have received a boost since Kerry Collins has become the starting quarterback. But Justin Gage is listed questionable this week with a groin injury.

Injury problems that hurt tackle Jonas Jennings in 2006 have resurfaced in 2008. Jennings had his shoulder pop out against the Seahawks last week, and had it popped back in on the sideline. Jennings will find out soon if he will have surgery, which will end his season.

The Cowboys and Packers will be down a starting safety in their marquee matchup on Sunday night. Cowboys safety Roy Williams broke his forearm against the Eagles and will be out three to four games. He will be replaced by Patrick Watkins.

Packers starter Atari Bigby hurt his hamstring against the Lions and will be replaced by Aaron Rouse.

Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer has suffered behind a shaky offensive line, going all the way back to preseason. Palmer is listed as probable and did not miss practice this week.

Millions of fantasy football players around the world are lighting candles, rubbing beads, or doing dances, hoping that Adrian Peterson‘s hamstring can hold up. Peterson did not participate in practice on Wednesday or Thursday, but did see limited activity on Friday.

The Cardinals 2-0 start has as much to do with defense as it has to do with the high-powered offense. One of those keys to the Cardinals defense, defensive end Travis LaBoy, is questionable this week with an ankle injury.

Leonard Little had limited participation in practice on Friday and was listed as questionable on the team’s depth chart. Koren Robinson, who rejoined the Seahawks this week, wasted little time fitting in with his new teammates as he was listed as questionable on the depth chart.
