TE Daniels will miss significant time: Just when Texans fans thought the news couldn’t get much worse, it’s now being reported that Owen Daniels will be placed on the IR with designation to return after six weeks. He’ll officially miss 4-6 weeks, but per league rules, the earliest he can return would be Week 14. The official diagnosis on Daniels is a non-displaced fibula fracture — ouch — that happened during Sunday’s blowout loss in San Francisco.
