Cleveland Browns officials and Josh Cribbs‘ representatives held a three-hour conference call Thursday, according to a source. The team also is scheduled to have a face-to-face meeting with Cribbs to continue discussing the Pro Bowl return specialist’s displeasure with his contract.
Joshua Cribbs doesn’t plan to play a game for the Browns under the terms of his current contract. His representatives are expected to meet with Browns coach Eric Mangini and general manager George Kokinis next week to discuss re-working his existing six-year, $6.7 million contract.

McCreight and could announce Kokinis as his replacement as soon as today.

The website is reporting that a formal announcement could be made later this week. Mangini is skipping the Senior Bowl this week while huddling with Kokinis.
Cleveland will not waste any time trying to fill its general manager vacancy. Ravens director of pro scouting George Kokinis is expected to interview with the Browns as early as Monday.
