Washington’s 28-14 win over the Giants on Sunday was notable for a few reasons, not least of which is the impressive company in which it puts Redskins coach Mike Shanahan. When it comes to winning games on the season’s opening weekend, Shanahan was already ranked among some all-time great coaches. His 14th such win moved him past one Hall of Famer (George Halas) and tied him with another (Chuck Noll).

The Bears and Packers have the most longest, and perhaps the most storied rivalry in the NFL. The two teams have played 181 times in the past, and will be fighting it out for a chance to play for the NFL’s ultimate honor for the first time since 1941.
