Notre Dame QB Jimmy Clausen won’t be able to go through any drills at next week’s NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis because he’s recovering from surgery to repair tendon damage in his right toe, his agent, Gary Wichard, said Tuesday.

The 2013 Scouting Combine, which will be held from Feb. 20 to Feb. 26, is the annual job fair for prospective new NFL players. Players are put through a series of drills, tests and interviews at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, with more than 600 NFL personnel including head coaches, general managers and scouts in attendance.
