Representatives from all 32 NFL teams gathered Tuesday at Florida State’s pro day. Among the NFL notables on hand in Tallahassee, Fla., were New York Jets coach Rex Ryan and general manager John Idzik, Minnesota Vikings coach Mike Zimmer and offensive coordinator Norv Turner, Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly, Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn and New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan. There were many assistant/position coaches on hand to see the top draft prospects from last season’s BCS national-championship team, with every NFL team represented by at least two position coaches at the pro day. There were 32 teams represented at Florida State Pro Day on March 19. They ran outdoors and the field was damp due to prior rain. It was about 70 degrees. Tank Carradine DL (6-4 3/8, 275 pounds) — He recorded 32 bench presses, but will do another workout April 4 at Woodward High School in Cincinnati. Everett Dawkins DL (6-2 ¼, 291 pounds) — He ran the 40-yard dash in 5.00 and 5.02 seconds. He kept the rest of the combine results. Dawkins did well in positional workouts. Mike Mayock was on hand to witness Florida State’s pro day, where quarterback EJ Manuel — a player rated as the No. 2 QB in the draft by Mayock — was one of the key prospects working out.
