Late last season, Panthers quarterback Jake Delhomme sat with a broken knuckle and Matt Moore filled in for the 12-year veteran. Moore went 4-1 as the starter, and earlier this month the team released Delhomme, choosing to stick with the 25-year-old Moore.

Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said that roughly 30 players have been working out over the past week, well ahead of the scheduled offseason training program.
