The Chiefs might be hanging just outside of the top 10 in this year’s draft, but, unlike most teams atop the board, they are only a few pieces away from competing within their division.

Jamaal Charles might find himself with some company in the Chiefs backfield, just one of several changes the team could be poised to make.

49ers coach Jim Harbaugh expects Kendall Hunter to get more work in 2012. That’s not what Frank Gore owners will want to hear, but it may not be as bad as it sounds.

Now that Kyle Orton has a new home, he should experience an increase in fantasy value for the final few weeks of the regular season.

The football trade deadline is just that, dead. There is little to no excitement. There is no intrigue. Teams out of the race don’t send picks to other teams for future consideration like in other sports like baseball. Here are some trades I would love to see happen.

Chiefs rookie WR Jonathan Baldwin could be out for more than a month after injuring his hand/wrist in a locker room fight with RB Thomas Jones.

My first fantasy football draft of the year was an interesting one, but the top of the order saw a lot of the usual suspects. Check out the results.

Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe did his best Chris Johnson touchdown-celebration dance in front of the Titans RB himself and Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles at Ohana Day. I can neither confirm nor deny that it was good.

A few halftime thoughts as the Chiefs and Ravens hit halftime at Arrowhead Stadium.

From start to (almost) finish, the 2010 season has provided us with several dramatic transformations. No one would have predicted at the beginning of the season that the Patriots, Chiefs and Bears would be where they are right now.

Chiefs QB Matt Cassel is throwing touchdowns again. Just a few weeks outside of an appendectomy procedure that threatened to wreck the Chiefs playoff hopes along with some of your fantasy hopes. That is great news. Not so much if you are waiting for WR Dwayne Bowe to get back track. Cassel has already thrown two touchdown passes against the Titans, both to RB Jamaal Charles. The bigger concern for Bowe owners is if the Chiefs put this game out of reach early in this game (and the Chiefs are driving again). That would mean more attempts for Charles and RB Thomas Jones, less targets for Bowe. That point, however, has just been rendered moot because of a long touchdown […]

The Chiefs are apparently eager to rush QB Matt Cassel back into the lineup after an appendectomy. But if you saw QBs Brodie Croyle and Tyler Palko play against the Chargers, you can certainly understand why.

Did Week 14 seem to over promise some great weather games and then under deliver? Like “Star Wars Episode I, the Phantom Menace.” And the only weather game we got was a blowout. But it was the start of the fantasy playoffs for most of you, so lets search through the wreckage.

Pulling in a couple of fantasy thoughts from the Twitterverse.

Do I have this correct, the Broncos and Chiefs combined for 78 points a few weeks ago, right?
