NFL Network’s Michael Lombardi reports that Cowboys WR Dez Bryant will play on Sunday against the Vikings. Good news to those of you finalizing fantasy rosters, considering that the Cowboys will be playing in the afternoon game.

After spending a reported $54,896 on dinner for his Dallas Cowboys teammates, how did rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant spend his first NFL bye week? Well, let’s call it a bye weekend, because that’s all the Cowboys really had off. With the newest addition to his family — Dez Bryant Jr., born on June 25 of this year — Bryant said that just being able to spend time with little Dez was all he wanted to do. That and keep healthy.

Eagles QB Michael Vick has easily been the biggest fantasy storyline during the first three weeks of the 2010 fantasy season. Either Vick has saved you from a horrific draft which netted you Brett Favre, Matthew Stafford and Eric Hipple.

Texans WR Andre Johnson is listed as questionable with an ankle injury, but do you think that Johnson is going to sit out a huge matchup against the Cowboys? The Texans are playing in their third Super Bowl in three weeks, and there is no way the team is going on without its best player.

The Cowboys offensive line will get a boost with the return of linemen Marc Colombo and Kyle Kosier. And not a moment too soon, facing Bears DE Julius Peppers this week, too.

Wade Phillips is still considering whether he’ll use his starters in the Cowboys’ preseason finale against the Dolphins, and is giving special consideration to the status of rookie Dez Bryant.
