Saturday roundup: Panthers’ Stewart aims to be ready

The Panthers had one of the best rushing attacks in the NFL last year and hope to repeat the feet with the duo of DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart leading the charge. However, Stewart missed all of Carolina’s OTAs due to a sore left Achilles, but told the Shelby Star he should be ready to go come training camp.

Chiefs LB Johnson questionable vs. Chargers

LB Derrick Johnson, the Chiefs’ leading tackler, is listed a questionable after not practicing all week with a thigh injury. Johnson has started all of Kansas City’s nine games, recording 44 tackles, 1.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and one interception.
