It’s almost time to say goodbye in Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers know they will bid adieu to their venerable defensive coordinator, Monte Kiffin, and also could say so long to their veteran Pro Bowl linebacker, Derrick Brooks.

As gametime approaches, it looks like the Bucs will have a number of injured players who will try to give it a go against the Chargers.

The Bucs control their own playoff destiny over the season’s final two games, but a playoff run will now take place without at least one of their defensive stalwarts.

NFL GameDay Morning, the first information-packed show on the air Sunday mornings, checked in at 10 a.m. ET on the only network dedicated entirely to football. Warren Sapp, Marshall Faulk, Adam Schefter, Alex Flanagan and host Spero Dedes bring fans the latest news, injury reports, pregame analysis and game previews on NFL Network, including whether or not the Giants will miss receiver Plaxico Burress.

Almost overnight, it seems as if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have gotten old at key positions.

Wide receiver Joey Galloway is out Sunday due to a foot injury. Galloway missed almost all of training camp with a stained groin that was slow to heal.

Despite not practicing all week due to a hamstring injury, Buccaneers linebacker Derrick Brooks is active for today’s game versus the Falcons and is expected to play.
