A lot of big-name free agents are still out there, and some will find work at some point this summer.
The rumor mill has churned all offseason in regards to possible destinations for veteran free-agent LB Derrick Brooks. One team consistently mentioned is the Saints, but The Times-Picayune reports the chances of Brooks landing in New Orleans are “remote.”
Former Buccaneers linebacker Derrick Brooks said Tuesday that he does not plan to retire and he has heard from several teams about possibly signing him.
Mark Dominik and Raheem Morris decided the Tampa Bay Buccaneers needed a direction. And for the first time since the 1994 season, that direction won’t involve LB Derrick Brooks.
