Easy trivia: Guess which RB is injured yet again?

We’ve heard this before: Water is wet. The sky is blue. And Darren McFadden missed Wednesday’s practice with an ankle injury, this one supposedly having come against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving if head coach Dennis Allen is to believed. Oakland’s other RB Rashad Jennings actually did return to practice Wednesday after picking up a concussion on Thanksgiving. On one hand, you feel bad for McFadden since he seems to be cursed. But he’s been mostly useless for his owners throughout his career since he is incapable of staying on the field. Jennings is Oakland’s go-to guy for the rest of this season … and perhaps beyond. A&M’s Christine Michael explains oversleeping at combine

Representatives from 28 NFL teams gathered at Texas A&M’s pro day Friday, where 16 players worked out. Two head coaches — Rex Ryan of the New York Jets and Dennis Allen of the Oakland Raiders — were present, as well five defensive line coaches and two linebacker coaches.

The Raiders have a new GM and head coach, but they’ll have the same QB with Carson Palmer already getting the nod as Oakland’s season-opening starter for 2012.
