Is this exciting or what? Washington Redskins TE Chris Cooley will be a guest at the NFL Network studios Wednesday and Thursday. Two days of Cooley? It won’t be the first time, and anyone who tried Cooley’s signature ham, peanut butter and mustard sandwich – a.k.a., the Cooley Club – remembers the last visit.
So, it’s a rare occasion when Oklahoma doesn’t have the sort of must-see prospects that could change the complexion of the early stages of the draft. This year, while a young Sooners team builds toward a potential run at the 2011 national title, the school’s pro offerings are limited, with three players projected to be middle-round picks.
With so much focus on the quarterbacks, linemen and wideouts, the running backs have not received a whole lot of attention this week.
