De’Anthony Thomas has electric workout at Oregon’s pro day

Running back De’Anthony Thomas was absolutely electric when working out Thursday at Oregon’s pro day, which was attended by representatives from 20 NFL teams who were on hand to witness 11 Ducks players work out indoors on FieldTurf. Thomas (5-foot-8 5/8, 174 pounds) — who was at the NFL Scouting Combine — ran the 40-yard dash in 4.34 and 4.35 seconds. He had a 34-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot-3 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.21 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.83 seconds. He performed nine reps of 225 pounds on the bench press.
