Detroit Lions LB Ernie Sims has been ruled out of returning to Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks with what is being reported as a hamstring injury.

Invariably, there are a few things that I can’t get to, or forget to mention during NFL Total Access, or just a few things to follow up on. So here are a few midday thoughts and observations.
