Large group of Oakland Raiders coaches check out Cal’s pro day

Representatives from 17 NFL teams — including a large contingent of Oakland Raiders coaches, as well as linebacker coaches from the Baltimore Ravens and Minnesota Vikings — were present for California’s pro day on March 18, when 15 players worked out outdoors on FieldTurf in 75-degree temperatures. Deandre Coleman, DT (6-foot-5, 315 pounds) — Coleman, who was at the NFL Scouting Combine, ran the 40-yard dash in 5.06 and 5.09 seconds. He had a 25 1/2-inch vertical jump and 8-foot-7 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 5.10 seconds and did the three-cone drill in 7.71 seconds. He has 33 1/2-inch arms and 10 3/8-inch hands. He did a positional workout in which he did some good things.
