One question for the New York Giants is how they’re going to replace departed veteran receivers Plaxico Burress and Amani Toomer. The answer, as I see it, starts with rookie first-round pick Hakeem Nicks.
In what is likely to be a popular topic of conversation at Giants training camp, coach Tom Coughlin was asked Monday about his expectations for a relatively inexperienced wide receivers unit. Coughlin said he has seen enough from some of his young receivers to feel confident that they can fill that void left by Plaxico Burress.
