But when you pop in the coaching tape, you see there are even more aspects of the game where the Giants excelled, earning them a win in a well-contested championship game.

Watching tape in preparation for the Giants this weekend, Rob Ryan has to be licking his lips or plucking his gray beard; however excitement manifests with the Cowboys defensive coordinator, he must have shown plenty of it after seeing New York’s situation at offensive tackle.
With not much else on the football radar Monday, the release of Plaxico Burress from prison stole our attention. Burress is now a free man (depending on how you view parole), and in the minds of many NFL observers, a return to New York is a very logical scenario.
Tiki Barber‘s decision to unretire and play next season didn’t elicit a great deal of support from most NFL observers. But his former teammate, Giants LT David Diehl, was in the NFL Network house Friday and said Barber will prove the naysayers wrong.
Plaxico Burress returning to the Giants is believed to be possible, but one person with some insight — starting LT David Diehl — doesn’t see the receiver coming back. However, it’s not for the reasons you might expect.

I went to an NFL PLAY 60 Community Blitz event Thursday in nearby Lauderhill expecting to write some blogs on building a playground. Instead, I got to do a very small part to help build one, and it’s the highlight of my Pro Bowl week so far.
