The Pittsburgh Steelers have brought in veteran kicker Dave Rayner, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.

The NFL journeyman kicker has played with eight teams in as many years where he has racked up 65 field goals on 90 attempts and made 77 or 78 extra points.

With the Bengals now in their offseason, it’s clear coach Marvin Lewis wants safety Roy Williams and defensive tackle Tank Johnson re-signed.

The Bengals haven’t completely closed the door on kicker Shayne Graham, according to the team’s official Web site. The team wants to talk to Graham’s new agent, David Dunn , at next week’s NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
