It’s official: The Lions deactivated Daunte Culpepper and declared Drew Henson their No. 3 quarterback.

Lions coach Rod Marinelli confirmed injuries to QB Daunte Culpepper (shoulder) and LB Paris Lenon (chest) during Sunday’s game, but didn’t know the severity of either injury.

Something about this matchup that Minnesota doesn’t like. In boxing, often times styles can make a big difference and that seems to be the case early here.

Daunte Culpepper‘s brief retirement has officially come to an end.

The Detroit Lions announced on Tuesday that they have signed Culpepper to a two-year deal. No other terms of his contact were disclosed.
