Redskins owner Dan Snyder turned to Mike Shanahan, who won two Super Bowls in 14 seasons as the Broncos’ coach, to return championship glory to the franchise. Washington is 82-99 since Snyder bought the team and has missed the playoffs in eight of the last 11 seasons.

Just hours before kickoff against the Broncos on Sunday, the Redskins announced that they have revised their policy about fans bringing signs into FedEx Field.

Redskins defensive coordinator Greg Blache came to Dan Snyder‘s defense Thursday and said criticism of the struggling team’s owner isn’t warranted.
