Canton native Dierdorf watches the HOF grow

The Pro Football Hall of Fame broke ground on a new expansion Friday on the front steps of the Hall, with dozens of returning Hall of Famers on hand. That included Canton native Dan Dierdorf — who was on hand as a kid to witness the original groundbreaking of the Hall in 1962.

Dolphins are the feel-good story of 2008

Hard to imagine that at nearly the same time last year, the Detroit Lions were 6-2. Since then they’ve crashed and burned.

Meanwhile the Miami Dolphins, who play New England in a pivotal AFC East game Sunday, have been the anti-Lions. They have been the feel-good story that has surprised the NFL.
