The NFL fined Chargers QB Philip Rivers $7,500 for unsportsmanlike conduct in Monday night’s victory over the AFC West rival Raiders, a league source told NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora. Rivers was penalized 15 yards for taunting Raiders DT Gerard Warren in the third quarter of the game.
Hours before the Giants took the field to play the Cowboys in a colossal NFC-East matchup, New York reached an agreement with free-agent-to-be cornerback Corey Webster on a five-year, $43.5 million deal that includes $20 million guaranteed.
