A total of nine NFL teams were represented at Clemson Pro Day on March 7. They ran indoors on field-turf. Only one player held a workout. Andre Ellington RB (5-9 3/8, 194 pounds) — He was at the combine but pulled his hamstring there and was reluctant to run because he was afraid he might pull it again. He ran 4.71 on his first 40-yard attempt before coaches convinced him it was in his best interest to run at full speed in order to get a better look at him. He ran 4.52 on his second attempt. Representatives from 25 NFL teams made their way to Clemson’s Pro Day on Thursday, March 26. The majority of drills were done indoors on what was a very fast rubber track, with the exception of the three-cone drill, which was held outside on FieldTurf.
