It’s official. The Titans have signed QB Chris Simms, who will have the chance to be at least a No. 2 in Tennessee, with the chance to play well enough to perhaps challenge for a starting job.

Tennessee coach Jeff Fisher has confirmed the Titans agreed to terms free-agent QB Chris Simms on Tuesday. The move comes after the Titans worked out QBs Quinn Gray, Joey Harrington and Doug Johnson earlier Tuesday.
