In the latest of the back and forth between Rex Ryan and Channing Crowder, the first-year Jets coach began his press conference Wednesday with another volley aimed at the Dolphins’ linebacker in what’s quickly becoming the most entertaining series of trash-talking in recent memory.

Jets coach Rex Ryan — perhaps taking after his outspoken father, Buddy Ryan — has wasted no time adding heat to the already hot AFC East rivalries.
Just before the start of free agency, the Dolphins made another move, re-signing LB Channing Crowder to a multi-year deal.
While tags are flying around in record numbers, the Dolphins will not be using their franchise tag. Dolphins coach Tony Sparano said Thursday his team will not designate offensive tackle Vernon Carey, safety Yeremiah Bell nor linebacker Channing Crowder as Miami’s franchise player.
Cornerback Will Allen and linebacker Channing Crowder are ready to go.
Receivers Laveranues Coles and Jerricho Cotchery are active and will start this week after spending time on the Jets’ injury report.
Patriots offensive tackle Matt Light and Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder have reason to be thankful.
They have been fined, not suspended.
