Brandon Marshall and Josh McDaniels are scheduled to talk Tuesday. Marshall, a restricted free agent, has been the subject of trade talk throughout the offseason and is still expected to be traded.

A team employee had instructed players to downplay WR Brandon Marshall‘s not-guilty verdict on a battery charge Friday, according to sources. The Broncos say the public relations staffer was not representing the views of the organization when doing so, and apologized to Marshall for the incident.

Denver dismissed general manager Jim Goodman and his son Jeff Goodman, another Broncos personnel executive, and promoted Brian Xanders from assistant general manager to general manager, a league source said Thursday.
