We just saw why Buccaneers coach Jon Gruden felt comfortable enough to sit quarterback Jeff Garcia (calf) and replace him with Brian Griese, who hadn’t played since the team’s Week 5 loss at Denver. Buccaneers starting QB Brian Griese left Sunday’s 16-13 loss to the Broncos with a right shoulder injury and did not return. Griese was injured midway through the third quarter when he was hit by a blitzing Champ Bailey. He finished 13-of-19 for 88 yards.
