NFL Network’s Warren Sapp held nothing back Thursday when he summed up the 0-1 Steelers as “old and slow,” going so far as tell “The Dan Patrick Show” that his 13-year-old daughter, Mercedes Sapp, could cover WR Hines Ward.

A few minutes with Stevie Johnson is about as good as it gets. Johnson stopped by the NFL Network studios in Los Angeles Wednesday, rapping about everything from his endzone stunt against the Bengals and NFL players on Twitter to his infamous drop against the Bills.

It’s true that we spent an inordinate amount of time and space covering “The Beard” this postseason – like here, and here, and then finally here, when Brett Keisel shaved the thing in a “Shear the Beard” event benefitting cancer programs at Pittsburgh’s Children’s Hospital.
But it looks like Keisel wasn’t the only one to rock a little chin music for charity these days. Eight year veteran RB T.J. Duckett started growing his out two years ago when the Seahwaks abruptly let him go before the 2009 season.

We all have those Christmas presents that we don’t use. A tie rack, an automated coin sorter and any CD bought at Wal-Mart that edits out all the profanity. For the Steelers’ Brett Keisel, it is a razor his wife gave to him. From this side view, it is obvious that razor won’t be used.
