Cowboys’ rookie Bryant ready to get back to work

After spending a reported $54,896 on dinner for his Dallas Cowboys teammates, how did rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant spend his first NFL bye week? Well, let’s call it a bye weekend, because that’s all the Cowboys really had off. With the newest addition to his family — Dez Bryant Jr., born on June 25 of this year — Bryant said that just being able to spend time with little Dez was all he wanted to do. That and keep healthy.

Empire State Building goes pink

As part of the effort to support Breast Cancer Awareness month and the NFL’s Crucial Catch Campaign, the Empire State Building in Manhattan was lit pink on Sunday, Oct. 3.

As part of the Buffalo Bills’ efforts to support Breast Cancer Awareness month and the NFL’s Crucial Catch campaign, the Niagara Falls have gone pink. Of course, players throughout the league have also gone pink, wearing pink cleats and gloves and other gear during NFL games this month.

As part of the NFL’s support in the fight against breast cancer, players around the league will be donning pink cleats, gloves and sweatbands this weekend.
