Missouri Southern State had its pro day on March 5. Three players worked out for five teams. Brandon Williams, DT (6-foot-1 7/8, 332 pounds) — Williams stood on his combine numbers. He has visited the Cincinnati Bengals, Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Rams as a defensive lineman. The Cleveland Browns are checking him out as an offensive lineman. He’s had two visits to the Carolina Panthers and the Rams.

The Dallas Morning News is reporting that the Cowboys are considering trading or releasing veteran LB Greg Ellis, a move that could free up between $4.15 to $5 million on the team’s salary cap.
