Three and out: Bulger would look good in Miami

Happy Memorial Day Weekend everybody, what are you doing still working? Well, let me do my part to help you along with some quick hitters to help you pass the time.

Three and out: Brown won’t deal Palmer

Bengals owner MIke Brown won’t trade Carson Palmer, leaving the value of several of the team’s top fantasy wideouts in a state of decline.

First and 10: Top 100 show redux

It it’s Monday (and we’re sorry to say it is), that means it’s time to review Sunday night’s episode of NFL Network’s “Top 100 Players of 2011” series.

Plenty of wideouts to debate on ‘Top 100′ list

No position is better represented on NFL Network’s “Top 100 Players of 2011″ than wide receiver, with 18 making the cut as voted by players. On Sunday, 10 more players were revealed, including two wideouts — Miles Austin (No.70) and Brandon Marshall (No. 61). Austin and Marshall join fellow wideouts Terrell Owens (91), Josh Cribbs (84), Mike Williams (83), Santonio Holmes (76), and Greg Jennings (74) with 11 more to come. NFL Network analyst Warren Sapp believes Marshall would be higher on the list with more stability at the QB position in Miami. “I think that might have a little something to do with the quarterback that was throwing him the ball,” Sapp said. “Normally when you have a good […]

Three and out: Vick won’t repeat 2010 performance

Can Michael Vick duplicate — or improve — on his immense 2010 numbers? Fantasy owners would be wise not to expect that sort of scenario.

Post Mortem: Vick will be even better in 2011

The 2010 fantasy season is over, and what a strange year it was. Here is a quick look back, and some thoughts for the future.

Season over? Not if you are in a keeper league

Think that your season is over just because you have been eliminated from the playoffs? That is absolutely not the case if you are still involved in a keeper league.

Dolphins WR Marshall, Jets OT Woody active

Dolphins WR Brandon Marshall is active for Sunday’s game against the Jets. Marshall had been listed as questionable after missing Miami’s last two games with a hamstring injury.

Weather will affect Week 14

The weather could have a major effect on the first week of the fantasy football postseason.

Dolphins’ Marshall ruled out vs. Browns

Miami Dolphins WR Brandon Marshall (hamstring) will miss his second game in a row with a hamstring injury. He was limited in practice this week and was listed as questionable in the team’s final injury report.

Marshall back to work, but can you trust him?

If Brandon Marshall returns in Week 13, that doesn’t mean he’s a lock to start for your fantasy team.

Dolphins WR Hartline a good option vs. Raiders

Dolphins WR Brandon Marshall (hamstring) missed practice on Friday and is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game at Oakland. The Associated Press is reporting that Marshall is unlikey to even make the trip.

Dolphins WR Marshall injures hamstring

Dolphins receiver Brandon Marshall injured his hamstring on the Dolphins’ final drive of the first half against the Bears. He is questionable to return. With time winding down in the second quarter, Marshall caught a pass from Tyler Thigpen, ran across the middle and tried a spin move, at which point he fell to the ground and grabbed the back of his leg. Marshall had three catches for 41 yards before leaving the game.

Who is better than Forte?

Here is the list of running backs who are better — fantasy wise — than Bears RB Matt Forte.

Garrard ends game with bomb to Thomas

Pulling in a couple of fantasy thoughts from the Twitterverse: Should have start Brian Hartline over Brandon Marshall today. Who knew? Marshall has been such a bust. Explain to me how Mike Goodson can rush for 100 yards in a game, but DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart can’t this season? LaDainian Tomlinson is clearly not the same player he was earlier this season. Shonn Greene seeing more and more carries. Remember a few years ago when Tyler Thigpen was a viable fantasy starter with the Chiefs? He’s in there now for the Fish. Everyone in the NFL offices in L.A. rooting for the Browns … and Colt McCoy!. What a finish! Jaguars win on a bomb from David Garrard to […]
