The weather could have a major effect on the first week of the fantasy football postseason.

Dolphins WR Marshall injures hamstring

Dolphins receiver Brandon Marshall injured his hamstring on the Dolphins’ final drive of the first half against the Bears. He is questionable to return. With time winding down in the second quarter, Marshall caught a pass from Tyler Thigpen, ran across the middle and tried a spin move, at which point he fell to the ground and grabbed the back of his leg. Marshall had three catches for 41 yards before leaving the game.

Who is better than Forte?

Here is the list of running backs who are better — fantasy wise — than Bears RB Matt Forte.

Garrard ends game with bomb to Thomas

Pulling in a couple of fantasy thoughts from the Twitterverse: Should have start Brian Hartline over Brandon Marshall today. Who knew? Marshall has been such a bust. What a finish! Jaguars win on a bomb from David Garrard to […]

Dolphins make bewitching move at QB

The Dolphins have replaced starting QB Chad Henne with Chad Pennington in what has to be the most lateral, uninspiring move of two main characters with the same first name since Dick Sargent replaced Dick York as Darrin Stephens on “Bewitched” in the late 1960s.

Bears RB Forte has landed on the list

There were a fair number of fantasy disappointments in the — what we on the West Coast call — the 10 a.m. games. And a number of them are now on ‘the list.’

Every week it always amuses me that there are questions on the Fantasy LIVE chat or on Twitter asking if Brandon Marshall should play.

Marshall is a must play every week, no matter the matchup.

Marshall up to old tricks in Miami

For those of you worried that WR Brandon Marshall was going to change once he went to Miami, don’t worry, he seems to be the same guy. That is both good and bad.

No raining on WR Williams’ debut for Tampa Bay

One of the biggest loses in the fallen era of multi-use stadiums is the lack of mud during rain games. There was no such shortage of mud for the Dolphins and Buccaneers on Saturday.
