It was good to see the second day of the 2010 NFL Draft end on a high note for Brandon Ghee.

The feeling of draft week took a more firm hold Wednesday morning when the 17 prospects who are in town visited NFL headquarters in Manhattan.

Wake Forest CB Brandon Ghee (5-foot-11, 5/8, 191 pounds) is an explosive athlete, and his impressive workouts are catching the attention of teams. Ghee, who was a top performer for his potiion in the 40-yard dash, the broad jump, the three-cone drill, the short shuttle and the long shuttle, had another good performance at the Demon Deacons’ pro day.

here is no mistaking that the defensive backs are working out Tuesday at the NFL Scouting Combine. With the defensive linemen and linebackers performing Monday, the chatter was at a minimum. Boy does that seem like a long time ago. This class of defensive backs are certainly living up to the mouthy reputation of their position group.

The NFL Scouting Combine did not start out the way Florida’s Joe Haden would have liked.
