Browns coach Eric Mangini has named Derek Anderson his starter for Sunday against Cincinnati.
Is the Brady Quinn era over in Cleveland already?
What’s the future of QB Brady Quinn in Cleveland? If there isn’t more production out of Quinn, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Browns make a change at some point in the next three to five weeks.

Some 0-2 teams are in a lot better shape than others, at least in part because they know who they want to be, and what they do best.

No team celebrates its past more than the Raiders. So it should come as no surprise that Raiders managing general partner Al Davis told Santa Rosa Press Democrat reporter Phil Barber that he loved seeing those throwback uniforms on Monday night.
I have a strange feeling that Cleveland coach Eric Mangini is a huge fan of the movie “Usual Suspects” (I am, by the way; a top-fiver). You know the bad guy is the cunning Keyser Söze but you don’t know who the bad guy actually is until the final moment.

NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora was stationed in Berea, Ohio, at Browns training camp. La Canfora says that while Brady Quinn and Derek Anderson are handling the pressure-packed quarterback competition well, he believes Anderson will be the one roaming the sidelines without a helmet while holding a clipboard when the Browns open their season Sept. 13.
Browns coach Eric Mangini sais he has no intention of rotating QBs Brady Quinn and Derek Anderson once he names a starter later in the preseason.
“Once you make that decision and go with that decision, then at that point you’re moving forward with that group,” Mangini said.
