Thousands of Saints fans filled the streets Sunday to celebrate their team’s first trip to the Super Bowl — in drag. And not the usual drag queens that you typically find in the French Quarter. Included in the revelers was former Saints QB Bobby Hebert.

New Orleans sportscaster Buddy Diliberto once promised to walk down Bourbon Street wearing a dress should the Saints ever reach the Super Bowl. Five years after Diliberto’s death, the Saints are in the big game, and thousands of other men will fulfill Diliberto’s bargain.
