The NFL in April has more bluffing than the main event table in the World Series of Poker. Teams generally don’t want to tip their hand too early. So in the wake of reports that St. Louis was interested in Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford, GM Billy Devany went into Phil Hellmuth mode.
Colt McCoy revealed that the Rams are one of six teams with which he’ll hold a private workout. While the Rams do their due diligence with a closer look at McCoy, he could represent an option for them with the No. 33 pick.

No sooner were NFL teams connected to having interest in Donovan McNabb did they start lining up to deny that interest.
League sources told me that several teams are actively pursuing Eagles QB Donovan McNabb. A source with knowledge of the situation said that McNabb was being pursued by “some teams that would surprise you, and some you would expect.”
One of the latest reports to surface late Thursday afternoon is that Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford, the consensus No. 1 pick among draftniks, will hold private workouts for two teams — the Rams and Redskins.
