Jason Smith doesn’t play around. While most of the other draft prospects saw their opportunity to talk with kids at an NFL Play 60 event as a chance to smile for the cameras, joke around and dispense cliches, Smith got serious.

The Detroit Lions, the holders of next weekend’s No. 1 draft pick, gave the agents for Wake Forest LB Aaron Curry — Andy Ross and Michael Sullivan — no indication of their plans during a meeting Saturday.

Representatives from 15 NFL teams attended Baylor Pro Day on Tuesday. The main attraction was offensive tackle Jason Smith, who’s projected to be a top-10 draft pick next month.

Offensive tackle Jason Smith will keep all of his combine numbers and will not run workout drills at Baylor’s March 3 Pro Day. He is willing to run any position drills for scouts.
