Nic Jacobs, TE (6-foot-5, 265 pounds) — Jacobs ran the 40-yard dash in 4.76 seconds with the wind and 4.86 seconds against the wind. He had a 35-inch vertical jump and 9-foot-9 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.72 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.40 seconds. He had a good positional workout. Jacobs has visits scheduled with the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers. Tim Cornett of UNLV checked out by two NFL RB coaches

Representatives from nine NFL teams — including the running backs coaches from the Arizona Cardinals (Stump Mitchell) and Philadelphia Eagles (Duce Staley) — were present at UNLV’s pro day on March 13 to watch nine players work out outdoors on FieldTurf. The player those running backs coaches were there to see was Tim Cornett (6-foot-0 1/8, 209 pounds). Cornett stood on his numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine in the 40-yard dash, broad jump, three-cone drill and shuttle runs (he was among the top performers in his position group in the 60-yard shuttle). The top attraction for those coaches was tight end Nic Jacobs (6-foot-5, 265 pounds), who was at the NFL Scouting Combine. Jacobs ran the 40-yard dash in 4.78 and 4.87 seconds.
