The Cardinals have solved their safety issue just one day after losing veteran Antrel Rolle to the Giants. They traded fourth- and seventh-round draft choices to the Jets for former Pro Bowl safety Kerry Rhodes.
The Giants have signed safety Antrel Rolle to a five-year, $37 million contract with $15 million guaranteed and $22.5 million due in the first three years, according to a league source.
When Antrel Rolle was released by the Cardinals on Thursday, he became one of the biggest names on the free-agent market.
