One Giants player is hoping to get a presidential pardon, but it is not wide receiver Plaxico Burress nor linebacker Antonio Pierce.

Giants president & CEO John Mara and general manager Jerry Reese held an impromptu news conference at Fed Ex Field prior to Sunday’s game against the Redskins, where they acknowledged linebacker Antonio Pierce was questioned by authorities regarding Plaxico Burress’ accidental shooting, reports NFL.com senior writer Steve Wyche.

Last time New York and Dallas collided wasn’t on a football field, but rather at the ESPYs in Los Angeles last July, when Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens handed the Giants the award for the “Best game of the year.”
