Official 40-yard dash times for both wide receivers have been filed and Abilene Christian’s Edmond Gates and Fort Valley State’s Ricardo Lockette clocked in as the groups’ best at 4.37. That type of speed impacts draft stock for two guys coming out of smaller programs, but 40 speed doesn’t always matter.

Boise State’s Young leaps in Mayock’s rankings

NFL Network’s Mike Mayock released his latest rankings of top five prospects per position, with Boise State WR Titus Young making one of the biggest leaps. Young is listed third, behind Georgia’s A.J. Green and Alabama’s Julio Jones.
