For the majority of the season, I have admonished fantasy enthusiasts for having too many good quarterbacks. Trade one! I often decried. They can’t score fantasy points for you from the bench.

The expression I search for right now is “hoist on my own petard.”

One of the biggest fears as a fantasy enthusiast, other than having to start Mark Sanchez, is for one of your guys to have a huge day … after you’ve long given up on him.
