In today’s Three and Out: Aaron Hernandez had surgery; Demaryius Thomas looks for more one-on-one and A.J. Green just wants to get better.

If you fine folks have followed along, you know I received a Festivus miracle last week when the Tennessee Titans defense scored 18 points (thank you, Mark Sanchez) to secure the win against Matt “Money” Smith. I ultimately fell short in that league (more on those circumstances in a moment). I went 2-2 on Championship Weekend, as I again took out “Money” in our NFL.com Experts League. So I’m stuck in kind of limbo, fantasy purgatory similar to the finale of “Lost.” But two championships is pretty cool. And to fight off my NFL Fantasy Live peers for the second time in three seasons is pretty cool, too. Moving on, it should be noted so many fantasy football championships were […]

Will Cincinnati Bengals wideout A.J. Green rebound after his sub-par performance last week?

For the majority of the season, I have admonished fantasy enthusiasts for having too many good quarterbacks. Trade one! I often decried. They can’t score fantasy points for you from the bench.
The expression I search for right now is “hoist on my own petard.”

A.C. Slater, CM Punk, and M. Night Shyamalan. Famous figures known by their mysterious initials. The NFL has had a plethora of players known by singular letters from Y.A. Tittle to T. J. Houshmandzadeh. In week 12, four of the initially inspired stamped their imprint on the field of play with an OMG-worthy performance. Here are our top four performances and the real names of the performers. By the way, the names of the three listed above are Albert Christopher, Phillip Jack Brooks and Manoj. ————————————————————————————————————————————– C.J. One of the biggest fears as a fantasy enthusiast, other than having to start Mark Sanchez, is for one of your guys to have a huge day … after you’ve long given up on him.

Not sure what Chad Henne is smirking about here, he knows he plays for the Jaguars, right? He instantly looks like every bad guy from a movie based in college. He could easily be the president of the Alpha Betas and quarterback at Adams College if they ever want to do a remake of “Revenge of the Nerds.”

There is a segment we run every Monday called #thathelpsnoone where we celebrate the curtain jerkers who rob precious fantasy points from the guys we actually started. And if we wanted to, we could have filled the entire hour on Monday with #thathelpsnoone and we’re not even talking about the San Diego Chargers.

You’ve heard this before, but this is why you always play your studs. Calvin Johnson has led the world this season in being tackled at the 1-yard line. No, seriously. Elias passed along this note before the start of NFL Fantasy Live on Sunday which said Megatron had been tackled at the 1-yard line after four of his catches. And each time, the Lions ran the ball in each time, and did not go to Johnson.

The NFC North is a two-team race, just as we all figured. What we didn’t figure was it would be the Chicago Bears (well, we kinda figured them) and the Minnesota Vikings (nobody saw it coming). The Bears and Vikings won in a pair of laughers, but the Packers?

Everybody wants to find the next A.J. Green or Julio Jones, but Marcas Grant writes that finding the next big fantasy football rookie WR is far from an exact science.
