Monday Nightmare: Vernon Davis is back for fantasy owners

Call off the search, we’ve found Vernon Davis! And it turns it, Colin Kaepernick knew where he was the entire time. Just when we were ready to write off Davis for good, he comes out with a monster performance against the Monsters of the Midway.

Unexpected (and expected) for Week 11: Keep smiling

Not sure what Chad Henne is smirking about here, he knows he plays for the Jaguars, right? He instantly looks like every bad guy from a movie based in college. He could easily be the president of the Alpha Betas and quarterback at Adams College if they ever want to do a remake of “Revenge of the Nerds.”

Fantasy Post Mortem: RG3 rules, Matt Ryan iced

There is a segment we run every Monday called #thathelpsnoone where we celebrate the curtain jerkers who rob precious fantasy points from the guys we actually started. And if we wanted to, we could have filled the entire hour on Monday with #thathelpsnoone and we’re not even talking about the San Diego Chargers.

Monday Nightmare: Jamaal Charles comes through

If you know anything about me, you know I love to play guys on Monday night. Well, unless they play for the Kansas City Chiefs. I needed just 4.53 points from Jamaal Charles on Monday night, and to be honest, I didn’t think it was going to get it. Seriously, my fantasy week wasn’t so much dependent on Charles having a decent night, but more to the point, I needed Romeo Crennel to remember Charles was on his team.

The Unexpected (and expected): Watch the fake!

Time now to take a look at the unexpected (and expected) from Week 10, and we’re not going to talk about new Lakers coach Mike D’Antoni. Although, if you’ve followed my work, you know I love the move and have called for it the last couple of weeks. (Just look back to the 2011 Lakers season to see what an unmotivated Phil Jackson is all about.)

Fantasy Post Mortem: This is why you start Calvin Johnson

You’ve heard this before, but this is why you always play your studs. Calvin Johnson has led the world this season in being tackled at the 1-yard line. No, seriously. Elias passed along this note before the start of NFL Fantasy Live on Sunday which said Megatron had been tackled at the 1-yard line after four of his catches. And each time, the Lions ran the ball in each time, and did not go to Johnson.

Monday Nightmare: LeSean McCoy only 40 points short

Did your fantasy week end on Monday night? Our Adam Rank has you covered in his weekly feature, the Monday Nightmare. Come, share your tales of woe.

Unexpected (and expected): Redskins throwbacks win the day

Do you often feel like you’re left out in the cold by your favorite team? Well, don’t worry. Jerry Jones was locked out of the Cowboys locker room and he owns the team. But let’s take a look at the unexpected (and expected) from Week 9.

Fantasy Post Mortem: Andrew Luck is the man

Our Adam Rank takes a look back at the fantasy weekend that was.

Monday Nightmare: Who has it worse than me?

The fantasy therapy couch is open for business. Come share your tales of woe.

Unexpected (and expected) for Week 8: We want Tebow

I have no idea what any of that means, but it’s just awesome to look at. With that in mind, let’s take a look at the weird, wild and wacky stuff from Week 8.

Fantasy Post Mortem: Philip Rivers struggles again

Start Philip Rivers and all of your Chargers with confidence this week. This is a Norv Turner game where this team rallies for a somewhat meaningless win in October. These were all my rally cries prior to the Chargers game in Cleveland.

So much for that.

Monday Nightmare: Megatron fizzles

Anybody who needed a minimum of four points from Calvin Johnson on Monday night must have felt pretty good about their chances. But the nightmare was only beginning.

Fantasy Post Mortem: Don’t sell high on Chris Johnson

Here’s a look back at the top storylines from Week 7.

Unexpected (and expected): Don’t count out Eli Manning

It was another unpredictable week. Let’s take a look at the weird, wild and the unexpected (and expected) from Week 7.
