C.J. Fiedorowicz of Iowa worked out by Bengals assistant

There were 28 NFL teams represented — including an offensive line and special teams coach from the New England Patriots, a linebackers coach from the New York Jets, and a linebackers and tight ends coach from the Cincinnati Bengals — on hand for Iowa’s pro day on Monday.

A total of 13 players worked out indoors on a brand-new FieldTurf surface.

Conor Boffeli, G (6-foot-3 7/8, 304 pounds) — Boffeli had a 30-inch vertical jump and did 28 lifts of 225 pounds on the bench press. He stood on the rest of his numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine and went through a good positional workout.

C.J. Fiedorowicz, TE (6-5 3/4, 266) — Fiedorowicz was worked out by Bengals tight ends coach Jonathan Hayes. He is ok, but not great at catching the ball, but is a really good blocker.

Anthony Hitchens, LB (6-0 1/8, 240) — Hitchens ran the 40-yard dash just once, doing so in 4.60 seconds. He had a short shuttle time of 4.30. He had a 35 1/2-inch vertical and 9-foot-9 broad jump. Hitchens had a good workout and looks like a priority free-agent pickup possibility following the 2014 NFL Draft.

Christian Kirksey, LB (6-1 7/8, 234) — Kirksey ran the 40 in 4.50 and 4.52 seconds. He had a 4.34-second short shuttle time and 7.07-second three-cone drill time. He had a 36-inch vertical jump and 10-foot broad jump. He performed 16 strength lifts. Kirksey is a very good athlete who can play in space. However, he needs to get stronger to excel in the NFL.

James Morris, LB (6-1 1/4, 238) — Morris ran the 40 in 4.60 and 4.59 seconds. He had a 4.17-second short shuttle time and a 6.86-second three-cone time. He did a 35-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot broad jump. He had 18 strength lifts. Morris is another good athlete who needs to get stronger, but he also has the ability to play in space.

Casey Kreiter, LS (6-2, 251) — Kreiter ran the 40 in 4.99 and 5.02 seconds. He had a short shuttle time of 4.29 seconds and a three-cone time of 7.07 seconds. He had a 32 1/2-inch vertical jump and an 8-8 broad jump. He did 13 strength lifts. Kreiter gets the ball back with accuracy and velocity, and is likely a free-agent pickup following the draft.

The pro day is well-coordinated and run like clockwork at Iowa. The scouts love the place.
