Joel Bitonio worked out as tackle, guard, center

The offensive line coaches from the Bengals, Rams, Colts and Chargers were at the pro day for the University of Nevada at Reno on Wednesday to watch Joel Bitonio. The Bengals and Rams coaches worked Bitonio mostly at center on his pro day; the Colts and Chargers coaches worked him out at left tackle and at guard the following day.

Bitonio (6-4 1/4, 305 pounds) stood on all of his numbers at the combine and had a very good workout. He’ll probably be a second-round pick, some place between the 40th and 50th pick.

Also of note at Nevada’s pro day was WR Brandon Wimberly. At 6-2 1/8, 207 pounds, Wimberly ran a 4.84 and 4.82 in the 40. He had a 29 1/2-inch vertical and a 9-5 broad jump. He ran the short shuttle in 4.40 and the three-cone drill in 7.53 seconds. He also had 12 reps in the bench press. Wimberly lacks speed but has great hands and will probably be a free agent.
