Bryant WR/special-teams star draws 17 NFL teams to pro day

Representatives from 17 NFL teams were present at Brown University for a pro day featuring Bryant University wide receiver/special-teams phenom Jordan Harris.

There were two players from Bryant, five from Brown and two from Rhode Island at the pro day.

Harris (6-foot 1/8, 212 pounds) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.65 and 4.71 seconds. He had a 34 1/2-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-11 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.39 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.29 seconds. It should be noted that the 40 and the jumps took place on an outdoor rubber track in 40-degree weather.

Harris led the Bulldogs with 64 receptions for 1,031 yards and five touchdowns in 2013, while also serving as a part-time kickoff and punt returner.

Harris looks like a potential seventh-round draft pick or priority free-agent pickup following the 2014 NFL Draft.
